I made this book for my senior capstone project in undergrad. I made a collection of twelve Japanese folktales. which I illustrated, adapted text for, and made patterns for. I also designed a book layout that would work with all the elements as a system. The full page illustrations and spot illustrations were both made with layers of ink line and ink wash, with colors overlaid in Photoshop. I made the patterns with pen drawings that I put into Adobe Photoshop as well.
I was commissioned to illustrate a friend’s poem about a young girl with a thousand kites. I made all illustrations with pen, as well as spots of digital color in Adobe Photoshop. These are a sample of the over 20 spreads I created.

I made these portraits of black STEM icons for The Association for Computing Machinery as a social campaign for Black History Month that ran on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Hand drawn in pencil and colored with Photoshop.

These are a few spreads for a children's book idea about urban occupations. I was inspired by the illustrations of Olle Eskell, and wanted to create charming drawings of city life. I started all of the images a pen line drawings, and colored them digitally in Adobe Photoshop.
A good friend of mine commissioned me to create the artwork for his debut electronic music album entitled, “We are Lovers.” The art started from a spot drawing that I made for his single release, acting as a teaser for the full album. Made with pen and digital color in Adobe Photoshop.

I made this illustration based on a found note from found magazine.com. My note read, "Ferret Sighting. Seen running loose, looking like a lost pet, on this sidewalk evening of 7/31. Couldn't catch him :(" I tried to think of reasons why this ferret was able to avoid capture. So I put him on a hog and turned him into a rebel.
For a gif assignment in class, we were given three prompts. I chose, "Like Father Like Son." I thumbnailed many ideas, but in the end had to go with Star Wars. First I made a watercolor background of the interior of the Millennium Falcon, then I hand drew Han and Kylo, digitally colored them, and added a few simple animations.
I made these Holiday slides for a the large LED screen outside of Sweetwater Sound.
The phrase "Agenda Machine" was being thrown around my office, so I made this slightly tongue-in-cheek illustration for my boss who wanted to visualize the term. I started by storyboarding how such a machine would work to help me build up its parts, and created a pen drawing from there. I colored the final drawing in Photoshop for the poster.
I made this little animated reindeer band for Sweetwater Sound's outdoor LED screen. I made the illustrations and animation using Adobe Photoshop.
